Accounts and security

Sign-in options

You can sign in with email and password, Discord or Google. RealmBinder is in closed beta, so a new account needs a beta invitation or a pending campaign invitation for the same email.

Discord sign-in

When you choose Discord, it asks you to approve the details shown on its consent screen. RealmBinder uses your Discord identity and email to create or open your account.

RealmBinder does not need access to your private messages or servers. Do not approve unexpected permissions, and report a consent screen that asks for more than this.

Linking accounts

Signing in with Google links to an existing account with the same email automatically. Discord does not, so sign in the way you did before and connect Discord from Personal settings → Account & security → Sign-in methods. You can connect and disconnect methods there, as long as one method is always left.

Passwords and two-factor authentication

Use a unique password. Turn on two-factor authentication under Personal settings → Account & security with an authenticator app, and keep the backup codes somewhere safe. RealmBinder support will never ask for your password, authenticator code or backup codes.

Changing your password signs you out everywhere, including the device you changed it on, and sends you an email about the change.

Change email or profile

Open Personal settings from the account menu to update your display name, picture, email, notification preferences, password and two-factor settings.

Delete your account

Open Personal settings → Delete account, confirm, then type DELETE ACCOUNT in the final step. You may be asked to sign in again first.

Before deleting:

  • Export any campaign you want to keep.
  • Cancel any active paid subscription. Deletion waits until it is cancelled.
  • Know what happens to shared campaigns. Ownership passes to another member, and a workspace where you are the only member is deleted with all its campaigns.

Account deletion is immediate. Some billing, security, backup and legal records are kept for the periods the privacy policy describes.
