AI and your campaign
Plainly, in one page. What the AI in RealmBinder does, what it touches, and where it can be wrong.
What it's used for
- Rewriting session notes into readable recaps
- Finding entries and relationships in notes
- Summaries and table briefs
- Campaign chat through Chronicler
- Guided session interviews
- Timelines and status suggestions
- Cover art and other image generation
Your notes are the source
RealmBinder stores your original note text and keeps it. Rewritten or enriched versions are stored alongside it, never in place of it. You can return to your original words to check generated details.
What gets sent where
To produce a result you ask for, the relevant campaign content may be sent to contracted AI infrastructure. Because of that, keep real-world personal or sensitive information out of your notes. RealmBinder is not a place for health records, financial details, government identifiers or anything similar.
Where it gets things wrong
AI can invent details, merge two separate characters, miss context, or reword something so the meaning shifts. This is not a rare edge case; it is normal behaviour for these systems.
RealmBinder automatically creates and links compendium entries from session notes. These entries can become part of your campaign without individual approval. Check their details against your original notes and correct anything it gets wrong.
Quest and player-character status suggestions have a separate review step. Check their supporting context, then apply or dismiss each suggestion.
Even so, check dates, names, relationships, secrets and quest outcomes before you rely on them. Consistent naming and a stated session date make it noticeably better.
